Check In Requirements

A valid credit or debit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax, and an additional $50 per night for incidentals. Incidental charges include but are not limited to food and beverage charges, long-distance phone calls, and pay-per-view movies

DEBIT CARD USERS: Funds will be held as a ‘pending charge’ and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within 7-10 business days after check out Depending on your banking institution this hold can take up to 30 days to release. We recommend you use a credit card to check-in with, and then use your debit card at the time of check-out to settle your balance.

Pet Policy

Your furry friends are welcome at Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale/ Plantation.

All pets must be housebroken.

Pets are not permitted in public areas, food service area, and pool. Pets must always be leashed when in public spaces.

Owner is responsible for all damage to hotel property. The hotel does not assume liability for a guests pet or its action while at the hotel.

Pet Fees

1-6 nights: the fee is $75, whether a 1 night or 6 nights stay.

7-30 nights: the fee is $75 plus an additional deep cleaning fee of $100.

30+ nights: fee is based on hotel’s discretion.

Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under are permitted.

Two dogs may be allowed in a guestroom, provided that the combined weight of both dogs does not exceed 75 pounds.

Smoking Policy

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment (including vaping) and any room found to have been smoked in is subject to a smoking fee of no less than $250 + tax. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately.

Package Handling Policy

Hotel will accept the first five packages received complimentary, per stay. Any package received thereafter is subject to a $3 package handling fee.
