Hygiene and Safety

Providing a safety and healthy environment for our guests and colleagues is always top priority for Hyatt Centric South Beach – even more so today. Below you will find a list of modifications that have been made to our amenities and outlets to ensure a healthy environment and in accordance with the City of Miami Beach - Miami-Dade County orders.  

 

Updated Safety Procedures

MOBILE CHECK-IN AND KEYLESS ENTRY

 Utilization of the World of Hyatt app: check-in, access room, and receive your final bill without contact - all from your mobile phone

CLEANING ENHANCEMENTS

Guest rooms will be cleaned using EVACLEAN SYSTEM and products recommended and approved by CDC that kill novel corona virus while safe for our guests and staff

LOBBY

Plexiglass added at front desk with no-contact payment stations. Employees will be required to wear protective masks and gloves during their time on-site.

 HAND SANITIZER STATIONS

Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers placed throughout common areas including inside elevators

PAPERLESS MENUS QR

code will be placed in common areas and rooms for guest to download menu - another way to eliminate a touch point while remaining environmentally friendly

 HOUSEKEEPING

Based on length of stay, we will offer modified housekeeping frequency, replenishing of linens and in-room dinning delivery. All staff will be required to wear the proper PPE before entering a guest room.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Floor decals and signage have been added in common areas to remind guests of social distancing requirements

REMOVE ALL NON –ESSENTIAL ITEMS FROM ROOMS

Removing non-essential high-touch items such as Magazines, note pads, pens, etc.

 

Pool Modifications

Towels will be bagged to avoid direct contact from other guests when retrieving. Pool chairs will be sanitized and wiped down after every guest use and guest capacity will be controlled to maintain social distancing guidelines.

The pools will be open with limited capacity in accordance with directive from the state and local government.

Pool chairs will be configured to ensure separation between groups of guests traveling together. If you need to move the pool chairs for any reason, we ask that you please ensure they remain at least 6 feet away from other parties.

Pool chairs will be sanitized between each use.

Pool Toys, including: tubes, floaties, yoga mats will not be available till further notice.

 

Other Amenity and Activity Modifications

Valet / Arrival

Valet service will be temporarily suspended.  The front drive will be designated as a guest drop off for unpacking vehicles and sanitized bell carts will be available for guest’s use. The front drive will also be available for ADA assistance. Guest will have the option of two city self-parking garages located within walking distance, one is located across the street and the other two business doors down.

 

Restaurant

Deck Sixteen will be open for full breakfast service with grab and go options. Lunch and Dinner dinning will remain closed until further notice. In Room Dinning will be available for these meal periods with contactless delivery.

Fitness center will be closed till further notice

Pet Policy

Due to City orders we are not able to accept any pets that are not certified service dogs until further notice

Resort Fee

A daily Resort Fee of $28.00, plus tax (14%), will be added to your rate.

Beach access

Two beach chairs

Pool Toys, including: tubes, floaties, yoga mats (*temporarily not available)

Unlimited local calls

World cinema in-room Bluetooth technology

Daily newspaper

Access to the gym facilities at Exhale Spa: (located across the street from hotel. Hours: Mon - Sat: 6:00am - 9:00pm and Sun: 6:00am - 8:00pm) (*temporarily not available)

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING POLICY

Hotel package receiving and holding fees:

Any envelope received by the hotel is complimentary.

Packages weighing one to 20 lbs will be billed a $5.00 fee per package. Fee applies each day the package is held at the hotel until picked up by the hotel guest.

The hotel will not accept packages over 20 lbs.
