The city tour takes about 25 minutes by car, 8 km / 5 miles from the hotel. While in the downtown area, you can go to the local crafts market to buy handmade items made in Costa Rica.

Near our hotel, downtown San Jose, Costa Rica is considered the city center hub where visitors can discover the cultural vibe, explore the Historic Center or Plaza de la Cultura, enjoy a variety of unique dining, shops and museums or take in a show at the National Theater.

Is open to Tourists during the day to take a self-guided tour. At lunch, there are normally free musical programs, and on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. Check out the schedule for this year’s plays and performances there is sure to be something you like for your next trip to Costa Rica.

Located in a deep and humid valley, and surrounded by hills and greenery, Mirador Orosi is about 35 km southeast of the capital San Jose. Orosi is one of the oldest communities in Costa Rica.

An hour drive from our hotel, you can discover the grandeur of the highest volcano in Costa Rica. Easily accessible and close to Cartago City, it has five craters and breathtaking views. Observing the craters of Irazu Volcano is the main purpose of those who visit this National Park, located 19.2 miles (31 km) from Cartago city and 27.2 miles (43.7 km) from San Jose’s city center.

The Lankester Botanical Garden is a research center of the University of Costa Rica, created in 1973 due to the international efforts of scientists and conservationists.
