Park Hyatt Shanghai is one of the China’s highest glamorous destinations for intimate, discreet, private and sophisticated weddings. Offering total space of 600 square metres (6459 square feet), the private rooms on the 93rd floor welcome up to 180 guests for weddings, accommodate a cocktail party for up to 200 guests, as well as host a gala dinner for up to 118 guests. The elegant rooms at Salons on the 86th floor are ideal for weddings up to 96 guests with stunning views of Shanghai.

At Park Hyatt Shanghai, we offer a variety of wedding menus carefully crafted by our culinary team. Ranging from traditional and modern Chinese to Western, and international cuisine, selections presented by our culinary experts are sure to provide ideal dining choices. Q: Can I create my own menu?

A: Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a menu that reflects individual wishes. Our experienced team will work to fulfil any request.

Q: Can I taste all the food before the wedding?

A: Of course. A complete tasting of all selected menu items, including cake, will be scheduled several weeks prior to the wedding. At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.

Q: How long will my reception last?

A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for four hours. This time can be extended if desired. The wedding specialist will inform couples about any additional costs for additional time.

Q: Can I have an open bar at the wedding?

A: Wedding parties can feature an open bar, a limited selection of wine and beer or a cash bar. The wedding specialist will inform couples about the costs and inclusions for each.

Q: Can I get any suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc.?

A: Park Hyatt Shanghai offers assistance with the coordination of ministers or officiates, floral arrangements, photographers, videographers and entertainment requests. Our extensive experience and resources allow us to handle the arrangements for these services with ease.

Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at Park Hyatt Shanghai?

A: Certainly. We have several locations that are appropriate for these occasions. We can accommodate rehearsals based on available space. The catering representative will confirm the room and time no later than two weeks prior to the wedding date. We recommend that rehearsals be conducted at the rehearsal dinner venue. This will facilitate a smooth transition between the rehearsal and the dinner.

Q: Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?

A: No, contract pricing does not include all taxes and gratuities. All food and beverages are subject to a service charge and a sales tax. Please remember that pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned to the wedding specialist.

Q: Can my guests have a late check out the morning after the wedding?

A: We will try and accommodate guests’ requests. However, this will be dependent upon the occupancy of the hotel on the day in question.

Q: Can I decorate the reception room?

A: Generally, yes. There are certain limitations in some rooms, which the wedding specialist can review. Allow us to provide ideas and suggestions that have worked successfully in the past.
