Huangguoshu Waterfall

Huangguoshu Waterfall is one of the largest waterfalls in China and East Asia, and is located on the Baihe River in Anshun, Guizhou Province. This is one of the most popular tourism attractions in China and, in 1982, was listed as one of the first “National Parks in China”.

Tianlong Tunpu

Tianlong Tunpu, located 72 km west of Guiyang, is the best-preserved Ming Dynasty village in China. Three sides of the village are surrounded by water as it is built against the mountains to take advantage of local geological conditions. An ancient castle and barracks have remained largely intact in the village.

The Yangming Temple

Yangming Temple, located east of Guiyang downtown area, is part of the Fufeng Mountain scenic area and was built to commemorate Sir Wang Yangming. It is known for its natural environment and beautiful scenery, and often called “the green lotus in the sky”.

Jiaxiu Building

Located on Aoji Rock on the Nanming River, is one of the most important tourist attractions in Guiyang City. First built in the mid-16th century, it has been rebuilt several times, yet has still managed to retain its original features.

Guizhou Provincial Museum

The Guizhou Provincial Museum, is located on Beijing Road in Guiyang City. The Museum has collected over 60,000 items, with the relics of minority groups one of the key collections, comprising embroidery, wax printing, cross-stitch work, brocade, silver jewelery and ornaments, matrimony records and historical documents.

Zhijin Cave

Zhijin Cave is located in Zhijin County, Guizhou Province and is also called Daji Cave (“Hit Rooster Cave”) as, historically, young Miao boys and girls often played shuttlecock here. The Cave is recognised as the most primitive of the solution caves discovered to date in the world.

The Gaopo Miao National Minority Township

The Gaopo Miao National Minority Township is 31 kilometres from Huaxi. The karst lava and the well-preserved ancient nationality lifestyle, as well as the unique mountain landforms and charming natural scenery, all create Gaopo’s mysterious landscape.

Qingyan Ancient City

Qingyan Ancient City, founded in 1378 during the Ming Dynasty, is located in the southern suburbs of Guiyang. As Guizhou Province’s historical and cultural ancient town, Qinyan Old Town retains a lot of its original layout, as well as ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve

Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve, located in an area comprising parts of the three counties of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao in northeast Guizhou Province, was classified as a national reserve and joined UNESCO’s International Man and Biosphere Reserve Network in 1986.

Qianling Park

Located in the northwestern corner of Guiyang City, Qianling Park is a national AAAA scenic zone. The park is named after Qianling Mountain, which is known as the “No. 1 Mountain in South Guizhou”, and is home to a wide variety of birds and many macaques, which love to play with tourists..
