North Hua Qiang Shopping Street is known as the number one street in which to buy digital and computer equipment in China. You can also buy electronic and telecommunication equipment, household appliances, clothing and jewelry.

Parks and Recreation

Shenzhen Worker’s Cultural Palace

As the earliest park in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Worker's Cultural Palace carries a beautiful and unforgettable memory of life for two or three generations of Shenzhen people. Shenzhen Worker’s Cultural Palace was once the main front for the cultural and leisure of Shenzhen workers, leading the cultural atmosphere of Shenzhen in the old days. Many new generations that grew up with the city, they were watching the movie show, riding a bumper car and playing ice skating for the first time.

Children's Park

Children's Park is near the Dongya Overpass in Sungang, Shenzhen. There are playgrounds, paddling pools, space shuttles, ferris wheel surfing and various types of electric amusement equipment such as self-controlled flying elephants, twin strollers, Jinlong pulleys, self-controlled flying saucer, small trains, small planes for children. The facilities are more concentrated, so that parents could take care of children. During the holidays, the Children's Park is full of joy and laughter from tourists and children.

Shenzhen Litchi Park

This urban park has several pretty pavilions, landscaped gardens and an expansive lake. There are lanterns and flowers as well as calligraphy and painting exhibitions that are often held inside. You can also relax and take a boat trip on the lake.

Xianhu Botanical Garden

Xianhu Botanical Garden is a scenic spot that combines a collection of plants, scientific research and sightseeing. Here, you can view many rare plants and a fossilized forest as well as learn about plants and experience the beauty of nature.

Happy Valley

Shenzhen Happy Valley, a large modern theme park in China, is located in Nanshan District of the city. Covering an area of 350,000 square meters (about 86 acres), the park boasts large quantities of breathtaking and exciting amusements to satisfy anyone's desire for modern entertainments. The whole park is composed of nine areas with different themes. The park encompasses nearly 100 exciting games for adults and children. Every day in the park, there are excellent performances in different styles, such as magic, acrobatics and extreme sports.

China Folk Culture Villages

China Folk Culture Villages was formerly two scenic spots in Overseas China Town by Shenzhen Bay, and was integrated as one in 2003. It is the world's largest and most comprehensive miniature park, reproducing nearly 100 famous tourist attractions in China and 25 full-scale ethnic villages. There, one can have a thorough lesson on the 5,000 years of Chinese history and appreciate beautiful landscapes from throughout the country in one day.

Windows of the World

Window of the World is located in Shennan Avenue, Shenzhen Bay Community, Shenzhen. It is a fantastic replica park situated at the Overseas Chinese Town. Here you can see vivid replicas of the world's wonders, historical heritages and famous scenic sites. The entire masterpiece is built at ratios of 1:1, 1:5 or 1:15.
