Andre Fu, award-winning Hong Kong-based designer, drew his inspiration for Yu Cun from the lifestyle and traditions of the Hainan people. Basking in the reflection of the resort's sparkling lagoon, this two-story restaurant is the property's showcase eatery, featuring three private dining rooms and eight private pavilions nestled along the lagoon. The restaurant's casual fine-dining experience takes its inspiration from the kitchens of the floating homes of the local Dan minority. With pleasant surprises around every corner, guests are sure to find this eatery fun and evocative, a place to create wonderful memories with friends and family.
When entering Yu Cun, guests will cross wooden bridges and walk along winding paths that lead to each secluded pavilion. The private pavilions are unique and contemporary, with bronzed bamboo, lounge seating, exclusive facilities and private pantries. The stunning concept allows guests to feel as though they are visiting a Dan family for dinner, all while enjoying the fresh catch of the day with peaceful views of the resort as a backdrop. Diners will be transported to a bountiful fishing village set on the edge of a tropical rainforest, serving up nature’s harvest.
