Area Dining

Bar Lis

Set high above the streets of Hollywood, Bar Lis was one of the most anticipated openings in Hollywood before its opening in 2021. The crown jewel of the Thompson Hollywood, this chic rooftop lounge captures the iconic spirit and style of the Cote d’Azur, with abundant greenery, a trickling water fountain and framed photographs of French Hollywood royalty. Order a Kir Royale and float away to St. Tropez.

The Terrace

Perfect for working lunches, sunset aperitifs and poolside eats, The Terrace offers shareable coastal Californian fare and an extensive rosé selection with a side of panoramic city views. Join us on the weekend for a European-style breakfast in the sun.

Beauty & Essex

Upon entering the restaurant, you’ll step through Beauty & Essex’s pawn-inspired retail shop and find an eclectic collection of vintage jewelry, custom musical instruments, one-of-a-kind art and plenty of other treasures.

Mother Wolf

Chef Evan Funke is a steward of Italian culinary traditions. His latest venture, Mother Wolf, is a tribute to Rome’s mythological origin story of Remus, Romulus and the Lupa Capitolina. Drawing on that history, Funke’s rich and soulful cooking is a mosaic of the ancient, pastoral and urban gastronomic heritage of la cucina Romana. The menu echoes themes of shepherds, popes, farmers and artisans with wafer-thin wood fired pizzas, hyper-seasonal antipasti and the exceptional pastas for which Funke is renowned.
