Community Impact
Deeply rooted in the community, El Capitan is committed to ensure we make a meaningful impact through local partnerships, diverse events, and most importantly our inspiring team.
To date, our efforts have included the following areas:
- Partnering with Merced College to create the Hospitality Career Academy
- In partnership with the San Jose Sharks, creating an outdoor field hockey rink for local youth
- Mainzer Loves Merced initiative that chooses 12 non-profits a year to highlight
- Monthly donation of hotel toiletries to the local rescue mission
- Program to encourage employees to take paid time off to volunteer in the community
- Highlighting local artists in a rotating art exhibit at our on-site eatery, Native Son

Tasting Menu Concept Rainbird Opening in Central California
