Terms and Conditions

Offer valid through December 31, 2022. To qualify for this offer, a wedding must be booked and held at a participating Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide. Offer code HMOON must be requested at time of wedding inquiry, disclosed in signed wedding contract and offer is subject to hotel participation, availability of function space and guestrooms at time of booking. Offer availability is based on the discretion of the hotel. Offer not valid in conjunction with previously booked or held weddings and may not be combined with other promotional offers. The number of World of Hyatt Bonus Points earned will be based on the estimated spend at time of contract (pre-tax and hotels fees) for the wedding. Points may be earned for eligible catering/banqueting charges incurred, exclusive of any taxes, gratuities, service charges and outside vendor/supplier charges. Earn up to a maximum amount of 150,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points. Redemption value based on current award chart, which is subject to change:

Policies & FAQs

World of Hyatt

World of Hyatt points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. One point is awarded for each dollar spent for all events. A maximum of 50,000 points will be awarded for any event. Points can be used toward future overnight accommodations.

Pricing

All food and beverage charges listed with the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara wedding packages are not inclusive of current taxes and service charges. A non-refundable deposit will be required with the signed contract. Your final balance is due five business days prior to your wedding. Our menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract is signed.

Guarantee

A final number of guests is required three business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare meals for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whatever is greater.

How far in advance can I reserve my wedding date?

We will be happy to reserve the requested date for your Santa Clara wedding reception up to one year in advance. We suggest you have several dates in mind when you speak with our wedding specialists, to ensure at least one of your preferred dates is available.

Can I create my own menu?

Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a menu that reflects your wishes. Our experienced team will work with you fulfill your requests.

Can I taste all the food before the wedding?

Of course. A complete tasting of all the selected menu items, including your cake, will be scheduled several weeks prior to your wedding. At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.

How long will my reception last?

Generally, a wedding reception is planned for four hours. You can extend the time if desired. Your wedding specialist will advise any additional costs for the additional time.

Can I have an open bar at the wedding?

You can elect to have an open bar, a limited selection of wine and beer or a cash bar. Your wedding specialist will advise you on the costs and inclusions for each.

Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?

We work on a regular basis with several vendors at our Northern California wedding site. We will be happy to give you contact information.

Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara?

Certainly. We have several locations that are appropriate for these occasions.

Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?

No, your contract pricing will not include all taxes and gratuities. Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned to your wedding specialist.

Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?

We will try and accommodate your guests’ requests, however, this will be dependent upon the overall occupancy of the hotel on the day in question.

Can I decorate the reception room?

Generally, yes. There will be certain limitations in some rooms, which your wedding specialist can review with you. Allow us to give you ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past.
