Offer valid through December 31, 2022. To qualify for this offer, a wedding must be booked and held at a participating Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide. Offer code HMOON must be requested at time of wedding inquiry, disclosed in signed wedding contract and offer is subject to hotel participation, availability of function space and guestrooms at time of booking. Offer availability is based on the discretion of the hotel. Offer not valid in conjunction with previously booked or held weddings and may not be combined with other promotional offers. The number of World of Hyatt Bonus Points earned will be based on the estimated spend at time of contract (pre-tax and hotels fees) for the wedding. FAQs

Can I create my own menu?

Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a menu that reflects your wishes. Our experienced team will work with you to fulfill your requests.

Can I taste the food before the wedding?

Of course. Once your contract is signed, a complete tasting of the selected dinner menu items will be scheduled several weeks prior to your wedding. At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.

How long will my reception last?

Generally, a wedding reception is planned for five hours, however you can extend the time if desired. Your Event Sales Manager will provide additional costs for the extended time.

Can I have an open bar at the wedding?

You can elect to have an open bar. Your Event Sales Manager will advise you on the costs.

Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?

Yes we have a preferred vendor list available.

Can I host a Post Wedding Brunch or a Rehearsal Dinner at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine?

Certainly.  We have several locations that are appropriate for these occasions.

Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?

No, your contract pricing will not include all taxes and gratuities. All Food and Beverage is subject to a Service Charge and Sales Tax. Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned to your Event Sales Manager.

Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?

We will try and accommodate your guests’ requests; however, this will be dependent upon the overall occupancy of the hotel on the day in question.

Can I decorate the reception room?

Generally, yes. There will be certain limitations in some rooms, which your Event Sales Manager can review with you. Allow us to give you ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past.
