Hotel Policies


Your furry friends are welcome at Hyatt Place Santa Barbara. All pets must be housebroken. Pets are not permitted in public areas, food service areas, and the outdoor spa. Pets must always be leashed when in public spaces. Owner is responsible for all damage to hotel property. The hotel does not assume liability for a guests pet or its action while at the hotel.

Pet Fee Guidelines

1-6 nights: $75 nonrefundable pet fee

7-30 nights: $75 nonrefundable pet fee plus an additional deep cleaning fee of $100

30+ nights: fee is based on hotel’s discretion. Please contact hotel directly

Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under are permitted. Two dogs may be allowed in a guestroom, provided that the combined weight of both dogs does not exceed 75 pounds. The fee encompasses this and pets exceeding are at hotels discretion.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations that have been guaranteed with a credit card and/or deposit are held for you until arrival. Please cancel your reservation at least 72 hours prior to arrival date to avoid cancellation penalty. If you do not arrive at the hotel on your schedule arrival date, cancellation policies will apply.

Non-smoking Policy

Hyatt Place Santa Barbara is a non-smoking facility. The hotel will apply a $250 cleaning fee to any guestroom that violates the non-smoking policy.
