Situated on the land of what was once the Rogers-Wiseman Ranch, a family-run, working cattle ranch for over 100 years, Antlers is proud to extend those traditions of hard work and true Texas hospitality in our restaurant – a place where you can gather at the end of the day to enjoy a delicious meal in the company of friends and loved ones. The Rogers-Wiseman family was known to host “big picnics” on the ranch, where cousins, aunts and uncles were invited to enjoy a spread together, digging a fire pit to grill whatever game was in season. Back then, game was a common dish for ranchers and ranch hands alike, as they hunted while tending to their cattle and other livestock. The ranch’s first matriarch, Mary Rogers, was known for her cooking. She raised chickens, hogs and cows, as well as a variety of crops, so you can believe that what she cooked and served was fresh from the land. As in days past, we proudly provide ranch-inspired cuisine with a focus on prime cuts and game, using high quality ingredients that are locally sourced, as well as utilizing herbs and vegetables from our resort’s herb garden whenever possible.
“My favorite meals are those that you share with friends and family. My fondest memories involve great food and great company, and we hope to share this experience with our guests.”
We use ingredients that are thoughtfully and sustainably sourced, and pride ourselves on working with local and regional Texas farmers and artisans to provide the highest quality meats, vegetables and cheeses possible. The quality of your ingredients equals the ultimate quality of what you produce. What we are serving is the best it can be because we start with the freshest, most flavorful ingredients. When you start with quality food, your preparation and presentation can elevate it to another level, and that is what we work for every day.
