Hotel Experience & General Information
We’re located at 400 Josephine Street. Heading south down Lamar, turn right onto Barton Springs Rd, and take a second right onto Josephine Street. Heading North on Lamar, turn left on Butler Rd, and take a second left on Josephine Street. Heading West down Barton Spring Rd, turn right immediately onto Josephine Street. Heading East down Barton Springs Rd, turn left onto Jessie Street, turn right on Butler and then a final right onto Josephine Street.
Check-in begins at 4 PM. Upon check-in, your card will be charged $100 per room (not taxed), per stay. This charge may appear on your debit or credit card for up to two weeks post-departure.
Check out is at noon.
We always try to accommodate early check-ins. Let us know when you are arriving and we’ll do our best to get you into your room early. Early check-in fees may apply.
If you need a little extra time getting out, let us know. We will do our best to give you some more time, and we can always hold onto your bags while you explore. Late checkout fees may apply.

Carpenters Hall is our on-property full restaurant and bar, and we also have Carpenter Coffee Shop that has grab and go breakfast options, cocktails and snacks.

If you can let us know if you are planning on receiving anything, we can make sure it arrives safely. If anything arrives for you before you check-in, we’ll hold it at the front desk. We are only able to hold packages for 48 hours before or after reservations. Otherwise, there can be a fee associated with holding packages. Additionally, if packages are over 36 by 36 inches they are subject to a storage fee.

Rooms & Amenities
All rooms include bath amenities, bluetooth speakers, a hairdryer, a fully stocked minibar, a delightfully comfortable bathrobe, iron or steamer, and in-room safe. We also have white noise machines in each of the rooms.
Stayover service is available by request and can be arranged by the front desk at anytime.

No. All of our rooms are non-smoking. If we find that you’ve tampered with any of our smoke detectors or lit up in your room, we’ll charge an additional fee of $250. Additional cleaning fees will be assessed based on mess, broken furniture, and any other additional damages.

Parking, Travel & Transportation
We offer a limited amount of paid on-site parking for $35/night. You may reserve parking ahead of time, limited to one vehicle per reservation. If you choose to not reserve parking, it is first come first serve. There is street parking surrounding the hotel that is metered by the city. Additionally, we have a 15-minute check-in spot located right out front on Josephine St.
We do not have car chargers available in our parking lot.
Hotel Facilities
Yes. The pool is available to guests from dusk until dawn (7 am to 9 pm).
Outside food and drinks are prohibited at the pool. However, we offer food and drink options brought right to your chair from Carpenters Hall.
No, but we do have opportunities for guests to book a day pass with near by gym, Castle Hill Fitness. Stop by or email the front desk to learn how to book. We also recommend hitting the Hike and Bike trail, Zilker Park, or Lady Bird Lake for some nearby outdoor movement.
Our individually curated retail shops are worth a visit on their own. We offer a host of signature souvenirs, thoughtfully sourced local goods, and one-of-a-kind finds. Save room in your suitcase or if you decide you want something after the fact, our online shop is always open.

Families & Groups
Yes! We love guests of all ages. The holder of your reservation must be 21 or older to check in.
Yes, we have pack n plays available. Just ask the front desk.

Pets
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome, and they stay for free! Pack your pup and we’ll supply a bed, bowl, and maybe a treat or two for your best friend.
Booking & Policies
For payment, we accept American Express, Discover Card, Mastercard or Visa, or Apple Pay.
Plans change. If yours do, we just ask that you let us know by 6 PM local hotel time at least 3 days prior to your reservation to avoid a fee (equal to one night’s stay plus tax).
During peak times and depending on your reservation, our policies may vary, so please refer to the policies specific to your reservation. These can be found during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation email.
We will need to secure your booking with a credit or debit card up front. The cost of that deposit may vary and during peak times we may require the full cost of your reservation up front— but the remainder of your payment will be charged upon check-out unless stated otherwise. Please check the exact policies for your reservation while booking.
Reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. We’ll ask you to verify the payment details upon check-in.
Cancellation is required 48 hours prior to arrival for most room types and is subject to fees depending on reservation type.
A fee of $25 per night (taxes included) will be added to your bill so that we can provide services and enhancements to your experience according to our standards. This includes:
