Created by JID, which was founded by the late celebrated Indonesian designer Jaya Ibrahim and inspired by Xiamen’s concept “Garden On The Sea,” Andaz Xiamen is a modern Nanyang-style mansion that carries the local culture as a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, while weaving in the sights, sounds and tastes of its surroundings to create a unique environment and local neighborhood-inspired experiences for guests.
Andaz Xiamen is home to 291 spacious and stylish rooms, including 20 suites, inspired by the local Nanyang culture. These private, thoughtfully designed spaces feature natural textures and materials such as rattan-backed armchairs, woven bamboo wall paneling and timber louvers, which create a relaxed environment where you can enjoy being you.
Off-site, Sugar Pavilion is located in a glasshouse within a piazza at Xiamen MixC mall. It extends the gourmet philosophy beyond the hotel with all-day meals, health-centric beverages and desserts.
More Than Wine Bar
Sharing the outdoor terrace with No.101 Chinese Restaurant is More Than Wine, celebrating the ocean-faring culture of Xiamen and Nanyang. Dominated by a striking central bar tiled to resemble fish scales, More Than Wine specializes in classic cocktails with a local twist, as well as a wide selection of whiskeys and carefully selected wines. Accompanying the drinks are local- and South Pacific-inspired bar snacks, while an auditory backdrop is provided by a live band (Friday and Saturday only).
Andaz Lounge
Andaz Lounge is the skylit heart of Andaz Xiamen and a convivial central gathering space. It serves up a menu of light snacks and an elevated afternoon tea experience where you can select sweet and savory treats from a pass-around service, while tea and coffee masters work side-by-side to brew pour-over coffee and Fujian tea.
No. 101 Chinese Restaurant
Named after the hotel’s address, No. 101 features local Minnan cuisine with a twist, as well as Hyatt’s signature Beijing duck. The vibrant all-day restaurant houses a series of open kitchens showcasing live cooking. Indulge in a semi-buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner that includes our signature Beijing duck served with local condiments.
