Hyatt Web Check-In Terms and Conditions
Hyatt Gold Passport® members with eligible reservations may use Hyatt Web Check-In to check in online or via PDA on the day of arrival at participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts® in the U.S., Canada and Caribbean. Hyatt Web Check-In is available beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET for Diamond and Platinum members or 1:00 p.m. ET for Gold members. As proof of eligibility, a Hyatt Gold Passport membership number is required when making reservations. During the Hyatt Web Check-In process, you must provide your last name, checkout date and estimated time of arrival, select room options (bed type and smoking preference), select frequency program (Hyatt Gold Passport or Airline Frequent Flyer) you wish to participate in on this stay and provide method of payment information. If you cancel your stay prior to scheduled date of departure once the check-in process has been completed and confirmed, you will be charged one night's room accommodations plus any applicable early checkout fees. If you are using a debit card, funds will be held limiting your access to those funds until your account is processed by your banking institution. Funds are equal to all nights' room and tax as well as $50.00 per night in incidentals. Any unused funds upon checkout will be released by Hyatt within 72 hours and will be made available in accordance with the terms of your banking institute's policy. Upon your arrival at the hotel, the payment card entered during the Hyatt Web Check-In process must be used at the Hyatt Express Check-In Kiosk or hotel front desk to receive your room assignment and key(s). You must visit the Hyatt Express Check-In Kiosk or the front desk on the scheduled date of arrival and physically occupy the assigned guest room. Failure to visit the Hyatt Express Check-In Kiosk or the front desk may result in your room being released as an early departure, and your payment card being charged one night's room accommodations. These stays are considered phantom stays. Phantom stays are not eligible for Hyatt Gold Passport points, credit toward tier status or participation in bonus points or other promotional offers. A phantom stay is described as a stay where a guest uses Hyatt Web Check-In or 1-800-CHECK-IN to check into a hotel but does not physically stay at the hotel. Some reservations made through meeting planners, travel agents, wholesalers and third party sites may not be eligible for Hyatt Web Check-In due to their systems inability to capture the Hyatt Gold Passport number in a dedicated field. Reservations made with a Hyatt Gold Passport number in a free form field may not be eligible for Hyatt Web Check-In. Therefore, those reservations will not appear in My Reservations. Members who reserved a qualified rate such as, but not limited to, AAA, Government, Hyatt Stay Certificates or other rates requiring identification or a certificate at time of check-in may use Hyatt Web Check-In, but may not use the Hyatt Express Check-in Kiosk to retrieve their room assignment and key. These guests must proceed to the front desk and provide the payment card used during the Hyatt Web Check-in process and appropriate identification i.e. AAA membership card, government ID, driver's license or promotional certificates. Hyatt Web Check-In is available only for participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and may not be available at all times for all reservations. Hyatt Web Check-In is subject to the terms and conditions of the Hyatt Gold Passport program. See goldpassport.com for details.
