Angela Nelson

I have been working in the hospitality business for over 13 years starting as a banquet server and working my way to my current position as Corporate Sales and Catering Manager. I have a diverse background in the hospitality field to include management, event planning, accounting and sales and marketing which has really given me a good understanding of the industry. I attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where my professors chose me to be one of 16 students to be an Event Manager at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Classic. I was chosen for this prestigious opportunity because of my creativity and enthusiasm. At that same time, I had the great privilege to work with some of the best in our business at the corporate office of the MGM Mirage Corporation and at the Bellagio. This is where I sharpened my event planning skills and became an expert in anticipating my client’s needs and paying attention to every detail. This sharpened skill set makes the planning process seamless for all of my clients. When working with my corporate meeting planners, I increase their competitive advantage by offering event planning concepts that are new, unique and keep with up and coming technology. For our bridal couples, I make their lives easier with my broad knowledge of the wedding business and my relationship with area vendors.
