Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards™ program is valid for meetings booked and held in conjunction with qualified meetings/groups of ten or more paid guest rooms or with qualifying catered/banqueting events and held at participating Hyatt hotels worldwide. Meeting Planner must be a Hyatt Gold Passport® member to participate in Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program. To receive benefits of Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program, planners must indicate that they wish to participate in Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program prior to signing the Sales or Catering/Banqueting Contract. Bonuses will not be retroactively credited for previously booked and held meetings or catering/banqueting events.
The Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program is available at participating Hyatt hotels worldwide. Membership in the Hyatt Gold Passport program, the redemption of awards, earning Hyatt Gold Passport tier credit and participation in Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program are void where prohibited by law and subject to any applicable government regulations.
Planner does not need to attend the meeting or catered/banqueted event to take advantage of the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program. However, to be eligible for bonus or tier credit in Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program, planner must be employed, or contracted, by the sponsoring company or organization at the time that the meeting or catered/banqueted event is actually held.
The earning of Hyatt Gold Passport program points for individual travel and Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points in conjunction with the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program is subject to terms and conditions of the Hyatt Gold Passport program. Meeting planners or attendees will not earn Hyatt Gold Passport program points during their group stay if their individual room bill is paid through a Master Account.
Earning Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points: Planner will earn one (1) Hyatt Gold Passport bonus point for every eligible U.S. dollar actualized in conjunction with group/meeting guest rooms, catering/banqueting charges associated with an eligible meeting or catered/banqueted event.
To receive bonus points for guest rooms, a minimum of ten paid rooms must be occupied on any given night for the planner to receive bonus points for that night. If the number of guest rooms falls below ten paid rooms for any given night during the meeting, the planner will not receive bonus points for that night.
Planner will receive bonus points for eligible catering/banqueting charges incurred in conjunction with the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program, exclusive of any taxes, gratuities, service charges and outside vendor/supplier charges.
Planner may earn up to 50,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points for each qualifying meeting, including applicable meeting and/or catering/banqueting event, or for each separately booked catering/banqueting event at participating locations. Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points will be awarded for room revenue exclusive of room tax and incidental changes. At Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in Asia, personal non-meeting related catering/banqueting events would not be eligible for Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program. Two or more meetings or catering/banqueting events held by the same organization over the same date(s) at the same hotel will be considered one meeting or catering/banqueting event subject to the maximum point bonus for one meeting or catering/banqueting event.
Bonus points will be credited to the planner after the meeting and/or catered/banqueting event has been held and paid for in accordance with the Sales or Catering/Banqueting Contract.
Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points for a single meeting or catering/banqueting event may be issued to a maximum of three planners.

In order to redeem Hyatt Gold Passport points for free night awards at Hyatt hotels, members must make reservations directly with Hyatt Gold Passport team member. A credit card guarantee is required at time of booking. Hyatt Gold Passport program free night and upgrade awards are not subject to blackout dates. There are a limited number of guest rooms available for Hyatt Gold Passport award redemption. During certain special events, a hotel may have contractually committed all of their rooms in advance and therefore Hyatt Gold Passport award redemption may not be available.
Hyatt Gold Passport award reservations are subject to the reservation requirements of the individual hotel, such as length of stay, special packages and meal plans. Hyatt Gold Passport award reservations are subject to the cancellation policy of the individual property at which member is redeeming an award. If member does not follow proper hotel cancellation policy or if member does not check into the hotel, member will be billed for one night's room and applicable tax at the prevailing rate of the day.
Hyatt Gold Passport free night awards are valid for standard guest rooms unless specifically stated as part of a particular award. All Hyatt Gold Passport awards may only be used for single or double occupancy rooms. Any additional guests are subject to the applicable hotel's charges. Hyatt Gold Passport awards may be applied only to the guest room and are not inclusive of food, beverage (except Passport Escape Awards which include limited meals), incidental expenses, service charges and hotel specific charges or taxes.
Hyatt Gold Passport awards indicating accommodations in a Hyatt suite for Hyatt hotels and resorts are for one-bedroom accommodations. Hyatt Gold Passport suite upgrade awards and free night Suite awards are not redeemable at all Hyatt locations. In order to redeem a Regency Club® or a Grand Club® upgrade award or a Suite upgrade award at a Hyatt Resort property, member must pay a minimum of the deluxe prevailing rate (such as partial ocean view, ocean view, slope view, etc.). In order to redeem a Regency/Grand Club™ upgrade award or a Suite upgrade award at a non-resort property, member must pay a minimum of the prevailing rate (not available at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Summerfield Suites).
Passport Escape Awards are valid at Hyatt hotels and resorts only for standard room accommodations. Meals, which are included in Passport Escape Awards, shall be redeemable only in hotel restaurants operated by Hyatt and in the hotel in which the Hyatt Gold Passport member is registered. A special menu may apply to each meal. Breakfast includes choice of: juice or fruit, choice of breakfast entrÃ©e and breakfast meat and choice of non-alcoholic beverage. Dinner includes: choice of appetizer, choice of salad or soup, choice of dinner entree with potato and vegetable, choice of dessert and choice of nonalcoholic beverage. Applicable taxes are included. In some restaurants selected specialty items are subject to a surcharge. The 5-night award includes room accommodations for 5 nights, 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners for two people and a complimentary welcome amenity. The 7-night award includes room accommodations for 7 nights, 7 breakfasts and 5 dinners for two people and a complimentary welcome amenity (not available at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Summerfield Suites).
When a Hyatt Gold Passport award reservation is made, the corresponding number of Hyatt Gold Passport points for that reservation will be automatically deducted from member's account within 3 days of booking. If member does not have a sufficient number of Hyatt Gold Passport points in their account, the reservation may be canceled or changed to the prevailing rate. If member cancels a Hyatt Gold Passport award reservation, any corresponding Hyatt Gold Passport points that have been deducted from member's account will be returned to the account within 3 days of the cancellation.
A Hyatt Gold Passport award of 2 or more nights is good for one continuous stay comprised of consecutive nights. No credit will be issued for any portion of the Hyatt Gold Passport award that is not fully used.
Hyatt Gold Passport awards are not combinable on the same dates with other awards, upgrade certificates, partner awards, certificate discounts or benefits, incentive travel awards, vouchers, checks or any other special offers. However, member may choose to use multiple awards for back-to-back hotel stays.
Hyatt Gold Passport awards are not negotiable, commissionable or redeemable for cash and are void if sold for cash or other consideration.
When member checks in for a Hyatt Gold Passport award stay, member will be required to present photo identification and provide a credit card or cash deposit for incidentals.
Platinum and Diamond members may redeem a Passport Plus Award at Hyatt hotels and resorts only when the normal award allotment is sold out and if the hotel still has rooms available at the prevailing rack rate. Passport Plus Award redemption requires an additional 60% point premium. This redemption is subject to the reservation requirements of the individual hotel, such as length of stay, special packages and meal plans (not valid at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Summerfield Suites).
REDEEMING POINTS FOR FUTURE MEETING CREDITS
Meeting Planners must call 1-866-614-4484 or their nearest Worldwide Reservation Center to redeem Future Meeting Credit awards.
Minimum point amount of 15,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points for a $200 USD meeting credit is required. Future Meeting Credits are redeemed in increments of 15,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points after meeting the minimum redemption of 15,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points. For every increments of 15,000 points redeemed, a $200 USD Future Meeting credit may be earned.
When a member redeems a Hyatt Gold Passport Future Meeting Credit award, the corresponding number of Hyatt Gold Passport points for that award will be automatically deducted from member's account within 3 days of redemption.
The number of Hyatt Gold Passport points available in the Meeting Plannerâ™s account limits the number of Future Meeting Credits that may be used per meeting at the time of redemption. Future Meeting Credit(s) will be credited to the master bill for the meeting on the day of departure. Any remaining amounts owed to the hotel for the meeting after the credit is applied to the master bill are the responsibility of the party who contracted the meeting.
Hyatt Gold Passport points earned for a current meeting may not be redeemed for Future Meeting Credits for the current meeting. Any unused portion of a Future Meeting Credit is non-refundable. No cash or credit will be given for any unused portion of Future Meeting Credits.
Future Meeting Credits may not be used as a deposit for a meeting. Future Meeting Credits may only be used as a credit toward a final bill, or for fully pre-paid meetings for the final payment.
EARNING TIER STATUS
Hyatt Gold Passport platinum membership will be given to Meeting Planners who, in the course of one calendar year (January-December), record a minimum of three (3) eligible meetings for which the Meeting Planner participates in the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program. Meeting Planner must re-qualify each year for Platinum membership. Qualification is based on a calendar year, January through December.
Platinum 15% point bonuses issued for personal travel will not be applied to bonus points earned in conjunction with the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program.
Hyatt Gold Passport diamond membership will be given to Meeting Planners who, in the course of one calendar year (January-December), record a minimum of 10 eligible meetings for which the Meeting Planner participates in the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program. Meeting Planner must re-qualify each year for Diamond membership. Qualification is based on a calendar year, January through December.
Diamond 30% point bonuses issued for personal travel will not be applied to bonus points earned in conjunction with the Hyatt Gold Passport Meeting Rewards program.
Company Accounts will only have the ability to earn Hyatt Gold Passport points in accordance to the Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards program. Company Accounts will not receive meeting credit toward tier status, regardless of the number of meetings held during a calendar year.
Company Accounts must designate a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of three (3) account administrators. Administrators will be responsible for managing account and redeeming points for free night awards. Company Accounts are not allowed to participate in the Hyatt Gold Passports Points to Miles program or Passport Plus Awards.
Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdraw this program at any time without notice. Any element of this program may be void where prohibited.
