In 1893, Melville Patrick Thomson and James Arthur Thomson built one of Calgary’s earliest sandstone buildings. While it originally housed the Thomson Brother’s Bookstore, this building is now our home, and we invite you to join us for an unparalleled dining experience.
Nestled within this late nineteenth century sandstone architecture, we have completed extensive renovations taking care to showcase our history and traditional Western ranching lifestyle.
Exclusively featuring collection of award winning photography by renowned artist, Joanne Meeker, the walls are adorned with oversized timeless sepia portraits of western life, ranching, and cowboys, set within a backdrop of the majestic mountains and glacial rivers of Alberta.
As part of Hyatt Regency Calgary, we are able to offer our guests free parking in the underground hotel lot. Simply have your ticket validated by your server.
