Frank Majowicz - Executive Chef
Frank Majowicz's culinary career began with the United States Navy aboard the aircraft supercarrier, the USS Forrestal. He then worked in restaurants throughout Southern Europe before graduating from the Culinary Institute of America with honors in 1976. He later joined Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 1977 as the Executive Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency Knoxville. During his 35-year career, Frank has worked at Hyatt properties in California, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Ohio.
An avid horseman, Frank and his wife have owned horses for more than 25 years. Together with their beloved horse Buddy, the trio have traveled across the U.S. exploring the most scenic trails.
Regina Martinez - Pastry Chef
Regina Martinez began her career with our Houston dining establishment as an apprentice pastry chef 20 years ago. Since then, she has been named Employee of the Year, Manager of the Year and won the Hospitality on Parade Food and Beverage Award. Highly committed to the hotel's charitable efforts, Martinez has partnered with numerous charities to donate both her time and exquisite dessert creations. In her free time, she has also dedicated herself to helping members of the community learn the pastry trade. She's no stranger to hard work, either. From hand-painting 800 dessert plates for a corporate gala to building a life-sized chocolate race car, Martinez has seen and done it all with both passion and dedication
