Hyatt Grand Resort and Spa has left a wonderful legacy to the sport of tennis. As the past home of the Newsweek Champions Cup, now the sixth largest tournament in the world, we have had Champions that include Pete Sampras, Boris Becker, Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi, Monica Seles, Stefan Edberg and so many others.   Although our stadium is now gone, our new facility rests on the same hallowed ground where the stars made history.

Even though the Tournament has moved to a larger location, we still feature the match making services and world- class tennis instruction that made us famous.   However, we have added some exciting new programs such as Stroke of the Day, Tennis Aerobics, Grand Champions Tennis Academy and much more!

Directing this exciting program is DJ Janssen, our USPTA certified Tennis Professional.   DJ has over 30 years of teaching and playing experience in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and the United States.   DJ's philosophy on teaching emphasizes a personal approach to instruction by building on your existing skills as well as adding confidence to your game.
