Join us for a stimulating Aerobics class, or stretch and balance with Yoga. Step into a Fitness Walk and discover the benefits of non-impact Water Aerobics. Classes are directed by specialists and are appropriate for every level of expertise.
We offer all our fitness classes to Hyatt Grand Champions Resort guests for $10 and to non-resort guests for $15.
Restorative Yoga
Our superlative class uses the ancient art of yoga to teach relaxation through a series of gentle movements and stretches coordinated with breath work. These balancing expressions allow the mind and body to recover from the stress and strain that comes into our lives every day.
Hatha Yoga
An excellent introduction to the fundamentals of Hatha yoga for the beginner & experienced student. This class practices core postures (asanas), breath work, relaxation techniques, and yoga philosophy.
Pilates
Strengthen and tone the core muscles while lengthening the muscles of the legs and arms in our Pilates class. This form of conditioning, used by ballet dancers to keep them flexible and strong, can be learned by any one and achieved at any level of expertise. We concentrate on body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion, as well as supporting back strength.
Step Aerobics
Get in step with this refreshing workout, loaded with interesting and unique choreography that motivates from start to finish. Whether a beginner or an intermediate level stepper, you will be pleasantly challenged with our distinctively energetic movement patterns.
Cardio Combat Kick-Boxing
Kick up your heals in our unique cardiovascular class that incorporates kickboxing techniques and self-defense moves in a high intensity workout. The class focuses on overall toning and is suitable for all levels of fitness.
Power Walks
Energize for a day in paradise with our aerobic instructor's brisk morning walk. Explore three and one half miles of luscious desert landscapes. All ages are welcome to join.
Water Aerobics
You don't have to get hot to get fit. Water aerobics uses the water's natural resistance to improve cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility, muscular endurance and balance. Our water aerobic instructors incorporate a variety of rhythmic body movements as participants learn to combine arm and leg movements in varying combinations. Classes are scheduled in our shimmering ribbon pool and it is not necessary to know how to swim.
Abdominal Shaping
Build core stability as you strengthen your trunk muscles in this fantastic 30- minute workout. This class focuses on a wide variety of safe, effective exercises for the abs and lower back.
