Clean the World Program
In support of Hyatt Thrive, Hyatt’s global corporate responsibility platform, Hyatt Regency Greenwich is giving back to its local community by engaging in a volunteer day with the Clean the World Program.
Hyatt Regency Greenwich housekeeping associates will collect and recycle soap and bottled amenities for Clean The World, a company that redistributes hygiene products to those in need. The hotel’s associates have volunteered 96 hours over the past year, working on community projects like this, to support Greenwich and the community at large. The volunteer effort is a key tenet of Hyatt Thrive, and part of Hyatt’s Global Volunteer Initiative, which is a brand-wide effort that encourages Hyatt associates to improve the many communities around the world that they call home.
Hyatt Thrive empowers over 90,000 associates at more than 480 properties around the world to help communities do one thing – Thrive – by focusing on four areas: environmental sustainability; economic development and investment; education and personal advancement; and health and wellness.
“We are so proud to be a part of this wonderful community, and our associates are honored to bring Hyatt Thrive to life in Greenwich through our work with Clean the World Program,” said Anne Farb, Director of Sales & Marketing, Hyatt Regency Greenwich. “Working together to improve the community that we call home is inspiring and it speaks volumes about what Hyatt is all about – making a difference in the lives of the people we come in contact with every day. We are looking forward to this very special day, which we hope will motivate others in the community as well.”
The volunteer work also coincides with a long-standing tradition of celebrating Hyatt associates around the world. Celebrating community and its people is a global demonstration of Hyatt’s dedication to thriving communities where associates live and work.
